What is a BLENDED course?
Blended learning combines the strengths of online learning and in-classroom training. Among its many qualities, Blended provides a convenient, flexible and robust option for busy health professionals and emergency responders. This option is particularly feasible when balancing the demands of working and learning are critical, such as during a global pandemic!
Powered using a new, user-friendly online learning platform, Blended teaches the same curriculum and hones the same skills as our traditional, instructor-led course – but on average, it takes less time to complete. A Blended course is divided into two parts:
Part 1 (A): Online (KEY): a self-paced, cognitive learning and assessment program with easy access to a rich array of resources, activities, learning videos, knowledge checks and an electronic exam. Once you have completed the first part of the program you will move on to the in-person portion.
Part 2 (B): In-class: an instructor-led, classroom-based session where you will benefit from ample opportunity for hands-on skills practice, expert coaching, debriefing, team scenarios and comprehensive skills testing.
**NOTE that all BLENDED courses require a KEY (part A) - sold separately**
What is a KEY (online component, part A)?
KEY is the required course material (aka part A) for all BLENDED courses. This gives you access to the following:
-Online modules
-2020 Provider Manual (eBook)
-Final exam (post test)
***KEY completion (part A) is required to be granted admission to the scheduled skills day (part B) ***
This is a NON-REFUNDABLE, REQUIRED course materials.
You will be provided of this during your course training with Cardiac Response.

Highly recommend taking first aid courses here! I took my BLS and had an amazing experience with Queen. She made sure I understood the content and explained things in a way that was super easy to follow. During the team activity combined with ACLS, she was encouraging and made the practice so much fun to learn. I will definitely come back for my yearly renewals!
